A Note from Your Host, Editor Jack R. Nerad

Driving Today: It's More Than Just Getting From Here to There

Jack Nerad

As the editor and host of Driving Today, it is my intention to make the program a resource, a respite and a rendezvous for those who like driving. When I was the editor of Motor Trend magazine, my personal summation of the magazine was "fun with cars" -- no less, no more. At Driving Today, we try to have as much fun as we can with cars while sitting behind a keyboard instead of behind the wheel. I think we accomplish that, and at the same time, deliver to you important -- perhaps even lifesaving -- information about driving.

Driving Today is meant to address, feed and nurture the love affair we enjoy with our cars. Every day, we offer you accurate, useful and thought-provoking information on the state of the automobile, the car industry and the driving process. And as the guy behind the wheel of Driving Today, I am interested in what you as a member of the audience have to say. Please feel free to email me at jnerad@carwars.org with your comments.

Thank you very much for continuing to log onto our program to see what's going on in the always fascinating world of driving. If there's one thing we all share, it's a love of driving, an affinity for all things automotive. I hope you enjoy what we have to offer, and I invite you to join us at this friendly URL as often as you can.

Sincerely,

Jack R. Nerad
