Tackling the Sonoran Desert in All-New 2021 Hyundai Tucson

More on the Carlos Ghosn saga, Road Tests of 2021 Lexus LX 570, 2021 Toyota Venza

The Sonoran Desert can be a forbidding place, but at the wheel of the all-new 2022 Hyundai Tucson crossover SUV, we found it wasn’t as dangerous as you might guess. In fact, despite high temperatures and a dryness that sucked the moisture from your eyeballs, our introductory drive in the Tucson was as pleasant as party punch. Topping the drive off, host Jack Nerad got a chance to discuss the new SUV at length with Hyundai product planner Trevor Lai, and we’ll bring that interview to you in this episode of America on the Road.

In the road test segment of the program co-host Chris Teague will reveal his strange love affair with the heretofore disrespected Toyota Venza. Has this odd duckling recently become a swan?

Also in the road test segment Jack Nerad will describe his family-oriented road test of the 2021 Lexus LX 570 luxury SUV. One of Nerad’s daughters graduated from college just last week, prompting the entire family to gather for the occasion. Was the LX 570 the right car for the entire Nerad crew? We’ll let you know.
